St. Francis Xavier's Alumni Association (Toronto) Activities and Pictures James Dean in Toronto, March 2005 Bro. Gregory's (aka James Dean) weekend visit to Toronto on 05,06 March 2005 was what Deacon Michael Ho described in his Sunday sermon at the Chinese Martyrs Cathlic Church as cyclonic. It happened from start to finish in just 24 hours. Despite the time crunch, the pictures showed that he had covered many tourist attractions such as CN Tower, Eaton Centre, City Hall, Market Village. He also had a quick tour at University of Toronto campus and the oldest Chinatown at Dundas and Spadina. Moreover, he is taking a nine months intensive course at University of Montreal which normally take three years to complete. John Leung Hok-Lin has summarized this get-together with Brother Gregory as followed. I think we can all agree, without fear of contradiction, that the dinner was a wonderful experience, with the reminiscing and photo-sharing. The singing of the school anthem at the end was the highlight, and the hip-hip-hooray, too. The dim-sum time was also most enjoyable, with the slide show. According to Bro. Gregory, this may be his only chance visiting Toronto before going back to Europe then to Africa.
